I'm so glad you're here! *hug* (I'm a hug person)

I'm a wife to my high school sweetheart and mama to our baby boy, Andrew. And our family wouldn’t be complete without our sweet rescue pup, Mia. We’re based in Buffalo, New York and completely in love with Western New York. I feel most myself with my camera in hand. Being welcomed in by my clients to creatively photograph their stories is honestly everything to me. When I say I love my job, I truly mean I am crazy in love with what I do.

my photography approach:

I believe in telling your story the way it truly happened.

My approach is very relaxed and natural. Clients have described my style as "candid" and "true to life," and I'm always striving to capture the real essence of who you are. While I will gently direct you so we have the best light or give you an action to spark emotion, we will never do any cheesy prom poses. (Pinky promise.) I believe the best photos come from natural moments, and I'm more interested in capturing the real you! Of course, I'll capture all the important group shots and family portraits to be treasured for years to come, but the unplanned, candid moments that happen all on their own is where the real magic is. That's the exceptional, real-life stuff that fills our hearts with joy.

Stepping in front of the camera can be an awkward feeling, I get it! Nearly every couple comes to me very excited to work together, but usually with the same hesitation: "We've never had our pictures taken before, we're a little nervous!" I hear this over and over, and I promise you, I will do everything I can to help ease that feeling. Let's chat beforehand so we can get to know each other better, and I'll make sure to play your favorite music during the photo session. I'll also offer some guidance and direction during the shoot so that you feel confident and at ease.

And if we need to, we can even grab a drink together before our session to help you relax. My ultimate goal is for you to feel comfortable and confident and to have a whole lot of fun in the process. So let's make some memories together that you'll treasure forever!

If you're not a fan of being in front of the camera or have never had professional photos taken, this part is for you, my friend.

I've been passionate about photography for as long as I can remember, capturing moments on various cameras throughout my life. From disposables as a kid, a point-and-shoot during my teens, and getting my first "real" camera as a highschool graduation gift from my mom, I have always been drawn to the art of photography. I also really love shooting on my film camera!

Before my business began, I worked in corporate marketing roles for seven years. I had a great job, and truthfully, I loved it. But my passion for photography was bigger, and I knew I was meant for something more. So I built my business from the ground up, starting with small passion projects and slowly working my way up to bigger, more challenging ones. Now I'm lucky enough to spend my weekdays at home with the tiny love of my life (my energetic toddler) and the weekends celebrating love, eating cake, and dancing my butt off with strangers who have become friends.
